3D Printing (FFF/FDM)

3D Printing (FFF/FDM) converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Standard PLA Filament, Tough PETG Filament and Engineering ABS/ASA Filament. It commonly runs on PLA, PP-H, ASA, ABS, PC, PA6, TPU, HIPS, PETG, PA12, PEI, PEEK, PVOH.

BOPP

BOPP converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Pouches. It commonly runs on LLDPE, PP-H, PET, EVOH.

Biaxial Orientation

Blow Molding

A hollow parison is inflated against a mould to form bottles and containers. Consistent colour and wall distribution are what converters look for.

Blow Molding (Ebm, Isbm)

Blow Molding (Ebm, Isbm) converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Cable Ducts, Dampproof Membranes and Protective Films. It commonly runs on LDPE, HDPE, PP-H, PET, PMMA, PP-R, SAN, HIPS.

Blown Film

Blown Film converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Mulch Films, Crop Covers and Biodegradable Mulches. It commonly runs on LDPE, LLDPE, EVA, mLLDPE, PLA, PBAT, PHA, PBS, STARCH, HDPE, PP-H, PVC-F, PP-B, PET, EVOH, PVDC.

Blown Film Extrusion

Molten polymer is extruded through an annular die and inflated into a bubble, then collapsed into film. It is the dominant route for bags, liners, agricultural and packaging film, where bubble stability and clean colour dispersion decide quality.

Calendaring

Molten polymer is squeezed between heated rolls into continuous sheet and film, used for flooring, banner and technical PVC.

Calendered Sheet

Calendered Sheet converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Crop Covers, Frost Protection Fleece and Weed-Control Fabrics. It commonly runs on LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP-H, PVC-F, PET.

Cartridge Molding

Cartridge Molding converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Spc/Wpc Planks, Trims and Vinyl Flooring. It commonly runs on HDPE, PP-H, PVC-F, PP-B, PVC-R, ABS, GPPS.

Cast Film

Cleanroom Molding

Cleanroom Molding converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Edge Guards and Corner Protectors. It commonly runs on LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP-H, PP-B.

Coating

Polymer is applied as a layer onto a substrate, paper, foil or fabric, for barrier, seal or protection.

Compounding

Polymers, fillers, colours and additives are melt-mixed and pelletised into a ready-to-use compound, the foundation of filled, reinforced and functional grades.

Compression Molding

Drawing

Driptube Extrusion

Driptube Extrusion converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Biodegradable Mulches, Mulch Films and Soil Solarization. It commonly runs on LDPE, LLDPE, mLLDPE, PLA, PBAT, PHA, PBS, STARCH.

Extrusion

Extrusion converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Junction Boxes, Blister Packs and Sachets. Extrusion Thermoforming

Extrusion Thermoforming converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Food Trays. It commonly runs on PP-H, PET, GPPS, HIPS.

Fiber Spinning

Polymer is melt-spun through a spinneret into continuous filaments for textile, carpet and technical yarn. Dope-dyeing with masterbatch colours the fibre through and through.

Film Extrusion

Film Extrusion converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Battery Separator Film, Conductive and Mono-Material Packaging Solution. It commonly runs on LDPE, HDPE, PP-H, PP-B, PVC-R, PET, PA6, PPS.

Film Slitting

Foam Extrusion

Polymer is extruded with a blowing agent to create a cellular foam sheet or board for insulation, cushioning and packaging.

Foaming

Foaming converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Brackets, Engine Covers and Airbag Covers. It commonly runs on HDPE, PP-H, PP-B, TPO, ABS, PA6, PA66, POM, PPA, TPV, GPPS, TPU.

Geomembrane Lines

Injection

Injection Molding

Molten polymer is injected under pressure into a closed mould and cooled to shape, producing precise, repeatable parts from caps to housings. Colour and additive masterbatch must disperse cleanly and meter accurately.

Knitting

Knitting converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Agrotextiles, Filtration Fabrics and Geotextiles. It commonly runs on PP-H, PET, PA6.

Lamination

Two or more webs are bonded into a multilayer structure that combines barrier, strength and printability for packaging.

Melt Spinning

Melt Spinning converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Conductive, Antistatic and Emi-Shielded Components. It commonly runs on HDPE, PP-H, PET, PA6, PA66.

Meltblown

Molding

Monofilament Extrusion

Needle Punching

Needlepunched

Nonwoven Lines

Pellet Extrusion AM

Pellet Extrusion AM converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Large-Format ABS Pellets, Large-Format PC Pellets and Large-Format PP Pellets. It commonly runs on PP-H, ABS, PC.

Pipe Extrusion

Polymer is extruded through an annular die and sized into continuous pipe and conduit. Long-term UV and pressure performance depend on carbon-black or colour dispersion.

Printing

Printing converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Blister Packs, Lidding Films and Strip Packs. It commonly runs on PP-H, PVC-R, PET, PETG.

Profile Extrusion

Polymer is extruded through a shaped die to make continuous profiles, window frames, edging, trim and seals, where colour consistency and weatherability matter.

Raffia/Tape Extrusion And Fibrillation

Film is slit into tapes and stretched into strong woven raffia for sacks and fabrics, where UV stability is critical.

Raschel Knitting

Raschel Knitting converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Layflat Hoses, Drip Irrigation Laterals and Pe/Pvc Pipes. It commonly runs on LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP-H, PVC-F, PP-B, PVC-R.

Rotational Molding

Powder is tumbled and heated inside a rotating mould to coat the walls, forming large, seamless, stress-free hollow parts like tanks.

SLS Powder Sintering

SLS Powder Sintering converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for PA12 SLS Powder, PA11 SLS Powder and TPU SLS Powder. It commonly runs on PP-H, TPU, PA12, PA11.

Sheet Extrusion

Polymer is extruded into flat sheet for thermoforming, signage and construction, with even gauge and colour across the web.

Sheet Forming

Sheet Forming converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Cable Management, Junction Boxes and Sockets. It commonly runs on HDPE, PP-B, PVC-R, ABS, PC, PA6, HIPS.

Sheet/Profile Extrusion

Sms

Spunbond

Continuous filaments are spun and bonded directly into nonwoven fabric for hygiene, medical and geotextile use, demanding very fine, well-dispersed colour and additives.

Spunbond/Meltblown Nonwoven

Spunbond/Meltblown Nonwoven converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Bird And Hail Nets, Insect Nets and Shade Nets. It commonly runs on HDPE, PP-H, PET.

Stretch Blow Molding

A preform is reheated and stretch-blown into a bottle, biaxially orienting PET for strength and clarity. It is the standard for beverage and personal-care bottles.

Stretch Film Lines

Stretch Film Lines converts polymer and Astra masterbatch into finished parts, typically for Bale Twine, Binding Ropes and Vineyard/Trellis Twine. It commonly runs on LDPE, LLDPE, mLLDPE, HDPE, PP-H.

Structural Foam Molding
